Try it, you Might Like it

Todays topic for #BoardGameHour is introductory games, that is games useful for showing people the joys of the board game hobby. This topic will lead up to the opening of nominations for the “Try it, you Might Like it” award for best introductory game

Here are the questions which we will ask:

Q1: How many people have you introduced to board games, whats your hit rate? #BoardGameHour

Q2: What themes do you feel are good for getting people interested in board games in the first place  #BoardGameHour

Q3: Do you have any tricks to make someones first few games fun? #BoardGameHour

Q4: What mechanics do you feel are easiest to teach to new players? #BoardGameHour

Q5: What games has enough replay value that you don't mind playing it the 100th time with new players #BoardGameHour

Q6:  What can designers do to make a game good for introducing new players? #BoardGameHour

Q7: Does game length effect your choice for what to play with new player? #BoardGameHour

Q8: The #BoardGameHour “Try it, you Might Like it” award for the best introductory game should mainly focus on?

Q9: Please nominate ONE game as the best introductory board game using #BGHAwards and tell us why? #BoardGameHour
